Today Xbox is hosting its E3 2018 press briefing from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and the new chapter of the Forza Horizon franchise has just been revealed, aptly titled Forza Horizon 4.

This time around, the open-world spinoff of the Forza Motorsport series is going to be set in the UK. The game will also feature seasons, which according to Ralph Fulton "change everything."

The game is a shared open world in which time of day, season, and weather are synchronized for all players involved. It will include 450 cars.

The game will release for Xbox One and Windows 10 losing its traditional end-of-summer launch window, and launching on October 2nd.

You can check out the reveal trailer below. Unsurprisingly, the game looked absolutely fantastic in its gameplay presentation, which you can also see below courtesy of YouTube user MKIceAndFire.

Of course, this is just one of the many reveals from today's Xbox press briefing. You can check out everything else in the livestream directly from Microsoft.
