FPS Tower Defense Game Sanctum is Now Available on Steam

Yep, you read that right; Sanctum is an indie game that’s part tower defense, part FPS. Developed by Coffee Stain Studios, the game consists of a planning phase in which you construct obstacles for the impending hordes of enemies in a method that’s not unlike building in Minecraft. Then, once the action phase kicks in, you’re reverted to FPS mode, where you can help take down the baddies with your own arsenal of weapons.

Sanctum looks like mad fun, and although it’s been lost in the mix of AAA’s, it’s been getting solid reviews nonetheless. Check it out, and tell me what you guys think so I can decide if I want it or not.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
