Dragon Quest XI is coming soon to a PS4 and 3DS near you… or at least near Japan, and Square Enix is celebrating by distributing a free PS4 theme.

The theme is static, and can be downloaded from the Japanese PlayStation Store for free. While it doesn’t have custom music, at least Square Enix gave it some themed icons.

Of course, you need a Japanese PSN account to grab and download the theme, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry. You can check out our handy guide that will teach you how to create an account and how to maintain it.

After you downloaded the theme with the Japanese account, you can then use it with all the accounts on that PS4 regardless of region, as long as the console is set as primary on all of them.

If you want to see what the theme looks like, you can check out a couple of screenshots in the gallery.

A second theme was also released on the Japanese Nintendo eStore for the 3DS, but unfortunately that’s region locked.

If you want to see more about Dragon Quest XI, you can watch the spectacular opening prologue video, some new commercials starring celebrities, new screenshots highlighting the story, and more footage displaying riding monsters and more. You can also read some recent information on PS4 Pro support and more.

Dragon Quest XI will release in Japan on July 29th for PS4 and 3DS, with a Nintendo Switch release also planned at some time down the line.
