isTom Games (Nyan Cat: Jump) has announced that its newest title Blocky Castle, is out today on iOS and Android devices. A launch trailer has accompanied the game's release.

In Blocky Castle, players will have to traverse the many dangers that lie in wait as they climb the steps of each treacherous castle. Spikes, flames, and bouncing bombs will cascade upon the unwitting climber in this mobile title. Here are some of the game's other elements according to the developer:

isTom Games doesn't want this game to be all gloom and doom, though! The developer's goal was to make a game that is as much fun as it is also funny to play. A bunch of animals dodging danger as they climb a huge tower does sound somewhat humorous. It's hard not to argue that the game color palette is pleasing on the eyes too.
