You Can Now Use Playstation Trophies to Earn PSN Credit

Sony Rewards will now let you cash in your PSN trophies for real cash that can be used in the PSN Store for PS3, PS4, or PlayStation Vita games.

November 4, 2017

As someone who has tried to sign up for Sony’s rewards program in the past, I can confidently say that the layout of the whole thing wasn’t great and it ultimately led me to never check it out again. Hopefully, that’ll change as Sony is now adding more incentive to try their rewards program, with trophies. You’ll now be able to use PlayStation trophies to receive PSN credit and more through the rewards website.

Unfortunately, it looks like everyone will have to start registering trophies from scratch. But still, the program seems cool nonetheless and it can never hurt to get free money.

The rewards for your trophies are as follows:

  • 100 Silver trophies – 100 points
  • 25 Gold trophies –  250 points
  • 10 Platinum trophies – 1,000 points

1,000 points will get you $10 of PSN credit that you can use towards whatever your heart desires. With a slew of new, incredible titles like Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Assassin’s Creed: Originsand more, the time to take advantage of this rewards program couldn’t be better.

It’s also important to note that this new program is exclusive to the United States. If you’d like to try it out for yourself, you can get started by signing up for Sony Rewards at this link.
