Free Persona PS4 and PS3 Dynamic Themes Released on Japanese PlayStation Store

on January 6, 2017 12:36 AM

If you want to decorate your PS4 or PS3 with a Persona theme while you wait for Persona 5, you can now do so for free.

Atlus released two free dynamic themes for PS4 and PS3 on the Japanese PlayStation Store, coming with a (rather simple) animation and custom music.

The themes can be found here for PS4 and here for PS3, and they celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series, albeit a bit late, since it happened on September 20th, 2016. The first game of the series, Revelations: Persona, launched on the same date in 2006 for the original PlayStation.

Of course you’ll need a Japanese PlayStation Store account to download them, but the PS4 theme will work on all of your accounts after installing it, as long as the console is set as primary.

If you don’t have a Japanese PSN account, you can make one by following our handy and ultra-detailed guide. Whether you want this theme or not, it’s definitely worth it.

If you want to check out the theme before you set out to download it, you can check out a video of the PS4 version below.
