Wide Right Games has announced that Freedom Finger is coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam on September 27. The shoot and bash action game features hand-drawn animations along with a stacked voice cast including Nolan North and John DiMaggio. North plays Major Cigar, who will help guide you while progressing through the story. In the story, players are assigned to rescue an American research team that is held captive. As players proceed, they must make choices that will lead down numerous paths making each playthrough different from the last. There will also be difficulty options adding even more replayability.

While controlling a spaceship giving the finger, players can shoot, punch, grab, and throw enemies through rhythm-based gameplay. The title will include thirty levels among twelve different worlds. With its unique art style and satirical humor, it seems that Freedom Finger is one of the upcoming indie games worth having on your radar.  Most recently, the game was showcased during the Nintendo Indie World presentation with a new trailer. According to the developer, Freedom Finger will also have a censored mode that will be a "less-potty-mouthed version of the game."

Freedom Finger is currently in closed beta, but its release date isn't that far away. The game will sell for $19.99 at launch. As of now, it is not available for pre-order, however, Steam users can add it to their wishlist. Back in March, Wide Right Games confirmed versions for Xbox and PS4 that will apparently launch at a later date. For more information on Freedom Finger, you can visit their official site.
