GalaxyTrail has announced via Twitter that the studio's upcoming action platformer, Freedom Planet 2, will be receiving console parts in the summer of next year. According to the developer team, the game will launch for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch next year. The developer studio also revealed that Freedom Planet 2 will be released on PC via Steam on September 13.

"We'll have more details later on, but we anticipate a summer 2023 release for consoles, which will launch with additional language options that will be patched into the PC version. We thank our console fans for your patience, and we'll work hard to make the wait worthwhile!" GalaxyTrail provided details about the console version of Freedom Planet 2. The studio outlined that the development process is in its final stages and there are a few adjustments and cutscenes left to build. " Our whole team has done such an exceptional job over the years, and we're more excited than ever to release it into the wild next month!"

Freedom Planet 2 is now available to wishlist on Steam. PC players can get the demo version of the game by heading to the game's official website. It includes all four playable characters alongside a batch of items that payers can use to empower their heroes. Additionally, the first boss seen in the original game will encounter you at the end of your journey. Freedom Planet 2 will be a sequel to the original game, Freedom Planet, which was released back in 2014.

Join the Heroes Of Avalice to fight against terror

Players will embark on a new journey to battle against an ancient terror, which seeks to cause destruction in the world. According to the developer team, players will be able to interact with animal NPCs to follow the story. Additionally, there will be numerous treasures and landmarks to find in its world. Neera, Milla, Carol, and Lilac the Dragon Girl will be the four playable characters, each with their own unique abilities, allowing players to kill enemies from a distance. Freedom Planet 2 will feature adventure and classic modes, with both having their own level of action.

Freedom Planet 2 will release for PC via Steam on September 13, followed by Xbox One, Xbox Series S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch next summer.
