Creators behind Friday the 13th: The Game, Gun Media, shared a teaser video on YouTube of a new map featuring the Jarvis house. The new map will offer new grounds for players to become familiarized with while trying to escape Jason’s grasp.

Taking after the film, Jason will be in a new “Jason 4” skin. This update seems to be based on Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter movie at the Jarvis house. After being defeated by Tommy Jarvis, Jason is back on the old stomping grounds on a path of revenge targeted towards our beloved counselors.

The update will also include unique Jason kills, possibly some of the more memorable and gruesome kills from the movie. One, in particular, could be a very gory head crushing shower scene from the film. If you remember this scene, it would be a rather fitting Jason emote.

In the teaser video, the 33-second trailer shows a major highlight in the upcoming update which is rain. Pan to Jason starring into the house behind shutters in his new skin, Jason 4. See the screen shot and the trailer below.

Since Gun Media has not shared a release date or any further detail of what to expect in this next update, the new map, unique kills, and weather system news shows a creepy but exciting future for the game.

Friday the 13th: The Game recently announced a new clothing pack coming soon, Spring Break 1984A date has been announced as of yet but be sure to check back for that update. The game is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
