Just in time for Halloween, Camp Crystal Lake's infamous slasher Jason Voorhees makes his way onto Nintendo Switch in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle.

Originally announced for the hybrid console earlier this month, Jason's latest venture is an entirely different experience to that seen in the recent multiplayer title Friday the 13th: The Game. Instead, his murderous antics in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle seem a lot less intimidating due to the game's adorable art style.

The launch trailer opens up exactly the same as the one that came before it. We see campers drinking around an open fire as the classic movie slasher creeps up behind them and buries his machete deep into the skull of one unsuspecting victim.

However, unlike its predecessor, this trailer also shows off what the gameplay has to offer. We see Jason sliding around a grid dispatching his victims one by one. There are also a number of weapons on display such as flaming swords and carving knives. We even see the '80s horror movie icon drive his fist through a lady's chest to extract her heart.

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is available now on Nintendo Switch packing more than 150 levels across 12 different episodes. The title can also be picked up on Android and iOS devices.
