Friday the 13th: The Game Getting New Game Mode, Paranoia

Twists and turns will wait players in the upcoming Paranoia mode that will be heading to Friday the 13th: The Game in the near future.

October 27, 2017

Since it launched earlier this year, Friday the 13th: The Game has provided players with the chance to fend for themselves (or take on the role of the iconic hockey masked killer) in asymmetrical multiplayer, with the title getting a new glimpse at its next upcoming mode.

A new teaser video was released for Friday the 13th: The Game highlighting a new upcoming game mode for the title called “Paranoia,” with the vague teaser giving a trippy indication that players will be in for a new type of experience in the title.

The video itself doesn’t give much away at all of what to expect from the new game mode, though similar teases from the game’s social media pages have given fueled much fan speculation that the mode will be a sort of “hidden identity” mode where one player may have a hidden agenda compared to the rest of the players that are trying to outlast Jason.

No additional release details or window was given as to when the mode will be available, though Paranoia will be a free update/mode available to all players of the title.

Friday the 13th: The Game is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For a closer look at the upcoming “Paranoia” mode, you can check out the teaser video below:
