11bit Studios' post-apocalyptic city-management and survival game Frostpunk is nearing the end of development, so the developers are beginning to reveal more and more details about the title. Today, the game's pricing was revealed, we caught a first glimpse at what the box art of the game will look like, and a developer diary covering the endgame was released.

At launch, Frostpunk will cost players $29.99 against all digital storefronts on PC; it is currently unknown if the physical release will be the same price. That being said, we did get a glimpse of the box art that will grace the physical release. You can check it out in the gallery at the bottom of this article

And what is a good city-management/simulation title like this without an interesting endgame? Throughout most of the game, players will just be trying to survive, keeping their citizens alive in harsh snowy conditions. Once you have a stable infrastructure though, it becomes all about politics and tough decision making. The developers say that players will have to make several difficult decisions that have the potential to split the community. You can actually listen to what your people want and need, or just rule with an iron fist.

You can check out a gallery of new screenshots and the new developer diary covering endgame content below. Frostpunk will release on PC and Mac sometime this year, with 11bit Studios promising to reveal it soon.
