The other day, two new Pokémon-themed Nendoroids were revealed: one for Trainer Red and another for his rival Blue. Riding on the coattails of that announcement was the teaser of a new Trainer Red figurine based on a re-imagining of the original design from the character designer Hitoshi Ariga.

That new artwork has been fully revealed and it's as nice (not to mention awesome) as one would imagine from such talent. My personal favorite is the return of "fat" Pikachu beside his partner. You can check out the image below.
