Today Bandai Namco released a large batch of 1080p screenshots of its upcoming strategy JRPG Full Metal Panic! Fight! Who Dares Wins, just in time for the new anime series Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory that will air in April, much to my joy.

The story of the game is pretty much what you’d expect, with heroine Chidori Kaname kidnapped by Amalgam and its leader Leonard Testarossa. Several months later, a defeated Kosuke Sagara appears in a South East Asian city named Namsak, where the story begins.

We get to meet a few of the characters, this time around affiliated with Amalgam, starting with Leonard Testarossa himself, his gentlemanly subordinate Lee Fowler, Kurz’s former mentor and deadly sniper Wilhelm Casper, and Leonard’s jealous but capable aide Sabine Refunio.

Amalgam’s Arm Slaves complete the scenario, with the Plan-1055 Belial, and the Plan-1065 Eligor piloted by Lee, Wilhelm and Sabine.

You can check out all the assets below. If you wanna see more, you can enjoy another recent batch of screenshotsthe first look at gameplay and a recent trailer.

Unfortunately, we have no announcement just yet about a western release, but the game will launch in Southeast Asia day and date with the recently-revealed Japanese launch, on May 31st. It will have English subtitles, so we’ll be able to import it if the usual licensing issues get in the way.
