The Game Bakers, developers of 2016's cult-hit Furi, have today revealed the studio's latest project, and no, it isn't a sequel to Furi.

Instead, The Game Bakers next project is going to be an RPG by the name of Haven. Revealed via a brief new trailer, Haven seems to focus on two characters that are in a relationship and have escaped together to a new planet. Haven's trailer also shows that wherever this couple travels, life seems to grow. Whether this will be a prominent gameplay mechanic or not though remains to be seen. The trailer also boasts some great music, when was one of the best parts of Furi.

The official description on Haven's Steam page simply says the following:

Play as two lovers who escaped to a lost planet.

The only thing that matters is to stay together.

A RPG to play solo or with a special someone.

Judging by this description, it seems like Haven could also boast co-op features as well, which is good to know. In the screenshots for Haven released by The Game Bakers, we also can see that the female character's name seems to be Yu. Additionally, combat looks as though it will be turn-based judging by one picture of an engagement we see the two protagonists taking part in. You can check out the full list of screenshots at the bottom of the page.

For now, The Game Bakers have listed Haven as slated to release for PC and undetermined console platforms at some point in 2020. Haven definitely looks intriguing, and I'll be interested in keeping an eye on it in the future. You can check out the reveal trailer for the game below if you'd like.
