One of this generation's digital gems is finally making it to the big leagues today: with a physical release on PS4 and the release of a retro CD of its soundtrack.

French developer The Game Bakers has announced that its fast-paced sword fighting, mixed with a dual-stick shooting game on Xbox One, PC, and PS4 is releasing today on the latter piece of hardware in the physical format.

Coming courtesy of Limited Run Games, the physical edition for PS4 will go live starting at 4 p.m. EDT on the Limited Run Games store. However, the edition will be limited to 5,000 copies worldwide: thus you will have to be reactively quick to get your hands on it.

Specifically titled Furi - Definitive Edition, the disc includes not only the base game but the One More Fight DLC, and is notably region free. It also comes with a code to download the soundtrack, which is one of the best this generation, on Bandcamp. It will cost $30, where as the regular game digitally costs $19.99 USD.

As mentioned right above, the game's award winning electro / synthwave soundtrack, which features original compositions from most notably Carpenter Brut, is really good. And if you're a fan of "old", physical media like CDs, then boy do I have good news for you: you can grab the game's soundtrack available in a sleek CD form starting today, on Bandcamp for $15 USD.

Lastly, an IndieBox edition of the game for PC will start shipping sometime next week. Costing $30 USD, it includes the Definitive Edition of the game, a blu-ray case, the soundtrack, a 24-page manual, a sticker, and a code to get the game and DLC One More Fight on Steam. The game requires Steam to function. You can order it here.

Furi is available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Editors note: I think I'm going to buy 43 of those CD soundtracks.
