Futuridium Developer Talks About His New Game Forma.8, Working with Sony, Unity and More

on November 3, 2014 5:30 PM

A few days ago I had a chance to chat with Mixed Bag Co-Founder Mauro Fanelli, who just released Futuridium EP Deluxe on PS4 and PS Vita, and is currently working on Forma.8, which will launch on PS4 and PS Vita first, with PC, Mac, Linux and iOS following.

Fanelli gives an overview on the interesting concepts behind Forma.8 and talks about Mixed Bag’s relationship with Sony Computer Entertainment and the way they got in touch with the house of PlayStation.

Interestingly, he also was one of the first developers to purchase a Unity license back in 2005, and gives us his insight on John Riccitiello’s appointment as CEO of the company producing the popular and indie-friendly engine.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
