According to the European Union Intellectual Property Office, Sony has filed an application for “G-Police.” The application is filed under Class 9 for game software and  Class 41 for online game software. G-Police It’s worth mentioning that class 41 doesn’t necessarily mean that, if we’re talking about the new game, it will be online. The class is required for any kind of online feature, including smaller ones like leaderboards and similar features. The trademark possibly hints at 1997's title G-Police by Psygnosis. The "Blade Runner" inspired PlayStation 1 shooter follows a police-force protagonist looking to uncover the death of his sister. It isn't immediately clear what this trademark will turn out to be. Because the game is not on PlayStation 2, it likely wouldn't be released as one of the PlayStation 4 classic re-releases. This may instead suggest that Sony is either trying to broaden what they are releasing on PS4 or is creating a new game based on the IP.
