Rice Digital revealed a special limited edition for the Inti Creates developer rail shooter Gal*Gun 2, coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2018.
The team at Rice Digital released in a statement that they have been working on the limited edition titled "Free Hugs Edition" for some time. If you remember, the limited edition of its predecessor Gal*Gun: Double Peace contained items that some would have never expected to see in a limited edition, ahem, panties. So they definitely had their work cut out for them.
The Free Hugs Edition will include:
- A copy of the game for either PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch
- High-quality presentation collector's box
- Official art book
- Official soundtrack CD
- Huggable Mr. Happiness plushie
- Pin-badge set
- Double-sided “Gaming Accessories Pouch” - measures 28x16cm
The limited edition will cost £79.99, about $110, for US and EU buyers.
Gal*Gun 2 contains new mechanics that has players will take on requests from girls at school who are, unbeknownst to them, the target of a demon’s mischief. However, these requests take time and require the player to efficiently manage their schedule if they want to keep organized as well as keep their days on track.
Throughout the game players will gain demon-busting points that will unlock new missions and story scenes with the heroines. This leaves a lot of free time up to the player and allows them to do what they want.
