Today, right in the middle of E3, host and creator of The Game Awards Geoff Keighley took to Twitter to announce the annual awards shows will be returning on December 7th, 2017.
In addition to the announcement of the date, Keighley also revealed that tickets for the show will go on sale today at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT). The gaming host didn’t reveal what site the tickets will be available on, but a link will probably be available on the official website. It’s unknown how much tickets will cost, however, last year, tickets were free.

In to addition to The Game Awards awarding titles designations like Game of the Year and other various accolades, the show always has a number of major reveals. Some reveals from last year included the announcement of Guardians of the Galaxy: A Telltale Series, brand new trailers for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding and Yacht Club Game’s Shovel Knight: Scepter of Torment, an extended look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the announcement of Bulletstorm: No Clip Edition, the villain reveal for Halo Wars 2, and much more.
At the moment of writing this no game announcements or reveals or game’s presence has been announced for the show, though expect that information to be to trickle out as December draws nearer.
