You might recognize GameChops from their excellent 2018 album Zelda & Chill. It took music from all of your favorite Zelda themes and remixed them into a collection of relaxing lofi beats. They followed that up with Mario & Chill. And now, the team is back with the third part of their Chillogy Poke & Chill, their take on the many classic Pokemon themes players know and love.

Poke & Chill features themes from the original Pokemon Red & Blue games all the way through Sun & Moon. The album was produced by Mikel, the man behind Zelda & Chill. He brought in the likes of Jun'ichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose, Minako Adachi, and Shota Kageyama to help compose the 16 tracks that makeup Poke & Chill. Every track is great. If I were still in school, this would immediately become my go-to studying music. It's incredibly relaxing while bringing bouts of energy to pump you up, regardless of your task at hand. Of course, if you've been paying attention to the music GameChops puts out, it's no surprise how good everything sounds.

Back in 2010, Dj Cutman founded GameChops. He oversees production on most of the music created for GameChops including each entry into the Chillogy. GameChops has quickly grown to be one of (if not the) biggest EDM labels in the gaming community. We haven't even finished its first weekend in the wild and Poke & Chill has already surpassed 100,000 streams. To say Cutman's endeavor has become a success would be quite the understatement.

Poke & Chill is available to stream pretty much everywhere. You can also pick it up as a CD or Vinyl from GameChops. Check out the full album on YouTube below.
