For over ten years now, the Games Done Quick series of charity speedrunning marathons has helped to not only bring together the gaming community, but also join people together while gaming for a good cause. Given the current circumstances of the coronavirus outbreak round the world, now is as good a time as ever to bring people together and to help others in need, with Games Done Quick aiming to raise donations for coronavirus relief.

As previously announced, Games Done Quick is currently running its coronavirus relief stream this weekend called “Corona Relief Done Quick.” While the organization’s previous events have usually taken place at a hotel or other venue in front of large crowds, the coronavirus relief stream is taking place as an online-only event in order to practice social distancing.
