Games Done Quick is Raising Money for Cancer Prevention with a Live Stream

A video game archive website named Awesome Games Done Quick is currently collecting donations during a week-long live stream in to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Donating is rather simple; all you have to due is tune into the live stream and follow the donation instructions. As of now they have raised $39631.85 (their goal is $500,000).

The event kicked off today and ends on January 11th. During the stream, speed runners will be making record attempts on assorted games like Pikmin 3, Cave Story, Banjo Kazooie, Bioshock, Resident Evil 4, Mega Man and the Mega Man X series, and many others.
