GamesCom 2010: Torchlight II’s New Trailer Screams Multiplayer

By Chad Awkerman

August 19, 2010

I’m a huge fan of the Diablo-esque Torchlight, but I thought there could have been more to the original. It is likely my prayers have been answered with the follow-up, Torchlight II, due in early 2011. The team behind the game has released a new video that really wants to make sure you know that this sequel has a large multi-player component, unlike the first one, which had none. And, you know what? Even though this is set for a 2011 release, it will still probably come out well before Diablo III, so you’re safe getting into this game to curb your appetite for hack and slash style RPGs.
