Gamescom 2013 Interview: The Elder Scrolls Online PvP Lead Outlines Factional Warfare, the Legacy of Dark Age of Camelot and More

on August 28, 2013 1:22 PM

Many of you probably know that I’m very fond of my memories on Dark Age of Camelot, and at Gamescom in Cologne I had a chance to have a chat with Brian Wheeler, Lead PvP designer of The Elder Scrolls online. Brian is proud of his heritage as a developer on Mythic’s glorious RvR MMORPG, like quite a few others on the ESO development team.

Brian was nice enough to share a lot of details on how the familiar three-ways factional warfare will work on the upcoming title by ZeniMax Online Studios, and to outline the similarities and differences with Dark Age of Camelot. If you used to love stealth trains there’s also something for you in the mix.

You can check out the full interview in the video just below, and remember that just yesterday we also posted another interview with Lead Gameplay Designer Nick Konkle.
