These top announcements were some that audience members least expected, presented something new to a game that had already been introduced, or showcased a completely new never-before-seen game.

10 10/10 Gotham Knights Villains Trailer

Harley Quinn With Giant Hammer

This Gotham Knights trailer did a lot of things for any fans of the Arkham games. This trailer shows a lot of big battles that are going to take place in the game. It introduced Harley Quinn and Clayface as some of the main enemies players will face.

The fights that they showed also put out the fact that bosses look as though they'll be multilayered. Clayface looks to have different phases as well as Mr. Freeze. What made this trailer stand out the most is that the game finally got a release date that was pushed forward. Fans are sure to appreciate the choice.

9 9/10 Hogwarts Legacy Dark Arts Trailer

A Scene From The Dark Arts Trailer For Howarts Legacy

This Hogwarts Legacy story trailer gave out some interesting details for the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game. The trailer showcased a moment in which players will reach a point in the game where the main character will have to choose whether or not the use dark magic.

This adds a level of intrigue to the game. If this is some of what they are showing players now, then, a lot of the game is sure to have choices such as these.

8 8/10 Wyrdsong

Wyrdsong Creature Holding Finger Up

Wyrdsong was only teased, but, with that, it brought a lot of joy to many players. It's a game from the former lead of Bethesda Jeff Gardiner who's known for having worked on Skyrim and some of the Fallout games. The trailer sadly did not give players any gameplay which was a little bit of a downside, but it provided a lot to speculate on.

From the looks of the trailer, the game will take place in a fantastical-filled world of light and darkness. There seem to be some references to spiritual elements with a crusade-like figure and a horned creature.

7 7/10 Atlas Fallen

Atlas Fallen Character Walking With Caravans Behind Him

The desert-based biomes of this Atlas Fallen are what will catch the attention of many players. The gameplay at the end of the trailer shows players using magic that controls the sand around them in different ways. In addition, it revealed that the characters in the trailer's weapons were made of sand. The monsters also appear to all be made of sand, yet still appear distinct in their characteristics.

The game has similarities to Monster Hunter, but the way that the gameplay is presented looks like it will have many aspects that are individual to itself.

6 6/10 Moonbreaker

Moonbreaker Gameplay

Moonbreaker is a dream come to life for anyone who's ever played a tabletop game and wished the characters would come alive. From the trailer, it looks like there will be a lot of characters that players can choose from that will each have their own voice lines and moves on the battlefield.

Players will also be able to paint the different figurines to their liking. This brings back the tabletop Warhammer days of having to hand paint figurines. This is a huge turn from the developer's previous title, Subnautica, but is bound to bring in hours of enjoyment.

5 5/10 Everywhere

Everywhere Game With Three Different Biomes

Everywhere left a lot of interesting questions to be asked. It felt like the trailer was all over the place, but that was the intent. When a player does a little more digging they'll see that the game is a cross between so many different things. The trailer shows planets that don't fit with one another. There are racing sequences with huge cars that look like Hot Wheels. Shooting segments and also what looks like platforming segments.

If this game manages to pull off a giant sandbox-like game with the intensity of the trailer it's sure to be a hit. The game even seems to hint at the fact that there will be different graphical styles that can be incorporated into its gameplay.

4 4/10 The Phantom Hellcat

The Phantom Hellcat Main Character Using Weapons

The Phantom Hellcat looks like it's going to be an original take on the hack and slash genre. This is not because its mechanics look different from the previous hack and slash games but because of its setting. The world around the main character looks like it's comprised of different 3D and 2D locations.

The different areas that the main character is shown going through all take place in a theater. The theater aspect of the game is luring as each level that was shown in the trailer has different theater aspects associated with it. One of these areas is a pitch-black zone where the main character has spotlights following her.

3 3/10 Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 With Character Sitting On A Floaty Surrounded By Zombies

Dead Island 2 was announced with both an announcement trailer and a gameplay trailer. The way this was done was perfect as players got to see what the game brought along with it in style and actual playability. The setting takes place in a location that's supposed to be a love letter to California.

The gameplay was a mesh of gory fun with zombie-killing physics that were unbelievable. All of the weapons looked as though they flowed naturally in their extermination of zombies. The zombies also looked like they were going to have some great variety as well. Overall, it looks like just as great of a time as the first one.

2 2/10 Lies Of P

Lies Of P Dark Setting With Pinocchio Holding Weapon

Lies of P is a souls-like game that's based on what no one would've ever guessed, Pinocchio. That seems like an odd setting for those familiar with the Disney iteration of this. The game looks like no Disney movie though. The weapon variety they showed looks extensive in the short bits players got to see. The setting feels like a clockwork puppetry steam-fueled world.

Everything in this game was breathtaking to witness and feels like it'll bring its own artistic style into play. Players can expect many enemy types. There will be a unique lying system where what the character says will be important to the grand scheme of the story.

1 1/10 Under The Waves

Under The Waves Character In Submarine While Blue Whale In Front

Under The Waves is a game that is going to focus on an oil company diver. It will be a narrative-based game and from what they have shown so far it looks stunning. There are images of large areas that players will drive through with the main character's submarine.

Every note that the trailer hits with the music, stunning graphics, and soothing narration felt like a great introduction to what this game will bring. People who want to play through art should add this game to their list as it's going to bring a lot of fascinating dynamics to the gaming table.
