GameStop “Excited” about Demand for Xbox One S; 37% of 2TB Model Sales Funded with Trade Credit

During GameStop’s financial conference call for the second quarter of fiscal year 2016, the retailer’s executives talked about the launch of the Xbox One S.

We heard that thy are “excited about the demand” that they have seen for the console, and interestingly 37% of sales of the launch 2 TB model (that is now sold out) were funded with trade credit.

The retailer also shared that it expects similar strong trades towards the 1 TB model of the console.
