GameStop Receives More PlayStation VR Units: “Already Exceeded Our Early Expectations”

If you’re looking for a PlayStation VR unit, GameStop sent a press release today announcing that they received additional units from Sony Interactive Entertainment.

GameStop Senior Vice President of Merchandising Bob Puzon accompanied the press release with a statement indicating that the system is quite popular with the retailer’s costumers:

“PSVR is off to a great start at GameStop, having already exceeded our early expectations. Due to the popularity of the system with our customers, we have received additional units for holiday.

As the destination for VR, we understand that more consumers are eager to try the immersive interactive experience. We encourage them to take advantage of our in-store demos at 115 store locations across the U.S.”

The retailer is also offering bundles priced at  $499.99, including the following:

PlayStation VR Until Dawn Value Bundle:

  • PlayStation VR Core
  • Pre-Owned PS4 Camera
  • Two Pre-Owned Move Controllers
  • Either a digital copy or physical copy of Until Dawn: Rush of Blood VR

PlayStation VR Batman Value Bundle:

  • PlayStation VR Core
  • Pre-Owned PS4 Camera
  • Two Pre-Owned Move Controllers
  • Either a digital or physical copy of Batman: Arkham  VR
