If you want a Xbox One on its launch day, you’re in luck, as Gamestop just reopened preorders for the day one edition of Microsoft’s upcoming console in the United States.
That said, there’s a rather funny detail linked to the reopening of the floodgates, as the ads don’t really focus on the power of the console or on its features, but on the policy reversals done by Microsoft since the Xbox One has been introduced.
So we get a banner ad that tells you that you can share, resell or trade-in your game discs, and the weekly ad focusing on the fact that Kinect can be turned off and doesn’t need to be plugged into the system to work, linking to a rather hefty page that invites you to “Get the facts” and also addresses the recent privacy issues.
