Available on Early Access for the past few years, the lovable multiplayer Gang Beasts has provided gamers with tons of wacky, beat-em-up fun on PC, but now is bringing the brawl over to its first console iteration with a PS4 release in the very near future.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, publisher Double Fine Productions announced that Gang Beasts will arrive for the PS4 on December 12th, 2017, where players on that platform will finally get the chance to experience the "beef-em-up" as they punch, kick, and do whatever it takes to hurl opponents off the arena and be the last man standing.

Double Fine specified that the PS4 iteration of the game will launch with "a whole glut of customization options" and with "several new modes," which will include 2v2 soccer matches and a co-op allowing players the chance to fight various waves of enemies together (or at least in the most coordinated way that they can).

Gang Beasts is available now through Steam Early Access on PC, Mac, and Linux, with the game to release for PS4 on December 12th, 2017. In the meantime, you can check out several screenshots of the PS4 version below, along with a brand new gameplay trailer:
