Pokemon Unite was only released a week ago but it's already drawing acclaim from both Pokemon fans and MOBA players.
While there have been concerns about its monetization strategy, Unite has received praise for its easy to pick up (and hard to master) playstyle, addictive gameplay loop and use of the Pokemon IP.
Before release, The Pokemon Company and TiMi Studios confirmed that they would be adding new Pokemon Licenses to the game on a fairly regular basis, the first of which is now already on the cusp of release.

In what came as a shock announcement to Unite players, it was confirmed that Gardevoir will be coming to the game tomorrow, on Wednesday, July 28.
While there was no official confirmation of the time, we imagine Gardevoir will drop at the time the game launched. This is the corresponding time we expect it to release in your region:

- 2 am CT
- 3 am ET
- 7 am UTC
- 8 am UK
- 9 am CEST
Gardevoir's Role in Unite
In a short video posted on the official Pokemon Unite Twitter Account, it was confirmed that Gardevoir would join the likes of Pikachu, Greninja and Venusaur in the Attacker role.
Although this isn't entirely new news, it still came as a bit of a surprise to many, as fans expected the dual Psychic and Fairy-type Pokemon to fit more into the supporter role, especially as that's the category with the least different Pokemon in.
The stats for the Pokemon have yet to be shared by The Pokemon Company or Timi, but we will be sure to update this post as soon as they're released, even if it is after the official Gardevoir release date.
