Sony Online Entertainment today released a new trailer for their MMOFPS title, PlanetSide 2, at Gamescom. While the trailer doesn't present any new information, it does take the time to show off just how grand PlanetSide 2 is going to be. Showcasing an absolutely massive battle scene, we have a chance to really get a feel of how large the scale of the game is going to be. Armies are not comprised of five-men battalions, the vastness of the game's online war is really captured in the 90-second trailer.

"One soldier can start a fight, a thousand soldiers can start a revolution." PlanetSide 2 will be free to play and is currently in beta. Players can sign up for the beta over at the game's website. In the meanwhile, you can check out the trailer below.
