Gearbox Announces Aliens: Colonial Marines Updates

So remember how Aliens: Colonial Marines was really, really bad?

Well developer Gearbox Software has announced a slew of patch notes for both the Xbox 360 version and the PS3 version. Some of the updates include better protection of save data, preventing spawning without a weapon, better auto-balance between multiplayer teams, making sure co-op revival always works, making sure enemies appeared in the correct color, and way, way more. Seriously, some of these issues are so laughable it seems ludicrous.

Whether these patches can save a game that everyone has probably already traded-in is another question. Do you think Aliens: Colonial Marines can be saved?
