At Sony’s PlayStation Experience conference, a few new details about Gearbox’s upcoming hero-shooter Battleborn were revealed. An open beta for the game is coming in “early 2016” and PlayStation 4 players will have access before anyone else to try out the latest game from Borderlands developers. Additionally, the game will feature an extensive campaign mode that can be completed in single-player or with local ‘couch co-op’.
Battleborn features 25 unique and humorous heroes, but PlayStation users who try the game out during the beta will get an additional hero, Toby the mech penguin, after launch for free.
If you try the Battleborn beta on PS4 next year, you’ll get an exclusive hero. For free. https://t.co/6WGSKHicJz
