Update: Microsoft has just confirmed that this bundle is indeed real. It will be retailing for $499 and is available for pre-order right now. Additionally, the controller within this bundle will be on sale as a separate entity as well and will cost $74.99. There are other Gears 5-themed products available as well including a keyboard and mouse, headset, and an external hard drive. You can find all of these products and further info over on Xbox's website.

The original report is as follows.

Gears 5 is due out in just about a month at this point and apparently, a new bundle of the game with an exclusive Xbox One X console will also be coming upon release.

Seemingly leaked thanks to Amazon Italy, the Gears 5 Xbox One X bundle will contain both the game and a specialized looking version of the console itself. The Xbox One X looks to be ash white/grey and contains the iconic Gears of War symbol on top of the console surrounded by some cracks. The controller that comes with this console is also meant to match the appearance of the console. All in all, it's a pretty slick looking system and might be one you should look to pick up if you've been holding out on grabbing an Xbox One X.

In addition, the bundle will contain Gears of War 123, and 4 along with the latest entry in the series. It'll also come with one month of Xbox Game Pass and one month of Xbox Live Gold.

Considering this leaked ahead of time, Microsoft might just opt to formally reveal the bundle sooner rather than later, assuming they already weren't planning to unveil it soon. And if we don't hear anything directly from Microsoft soon, well, there's a good chance that this might have been a Gamescom announcement that got out a couple of weeks in advance. Either way, because the bundle appeared on a retail site, it's almost certainly real. It'll likely go up for pre-order on other retail sites after its reveal.

According to the Amazon listing, this bundle is set to release on September 6, 2019, which is the early access launch date for the game. Gears 5 itself is set to release worldwide on Xbox One and PC on September 10.
