The internet is lit up with Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War 3's multi-player receiving in-depth reveals detailing execution moves, maps, characters, and more. The beta has been announced to be 'free' and although no date has been given, it is said that Epic Games will be paying close attention to the way users interact with the new play-styles accommodated by the third entry into this landmark third person sci-fi shooter.

"A big part of what we're trying to do is embrace the different play styles that people have, so this public beta is going to be a very big chance for us to throw it out in the wild and see how well we've met the needs of what players want in order to use different tactics," said Lee Perry, senior gameplay designer, Epic Games.

One of the major announcements involved with this reveal was the news that the multiplayer beta for Gears 3 will feature dedicated servers. Hopping into modes that involve spectator moments has always been something of an acquired taste that some gamers, well, never acquired. To address that Epic will enable a more casual version of these game types allowing players to get right into the action, but will also include unchanged classic modes. Team Deathmatch with group spawning on the frontline will be seen in the title along with limited respawns leading to 'an intense final battle' depending on how things go. New weapons such as the sawed-off shotty, retro lancer, and sniper rifle are also to be added in. Gamers may have to wait until next year to play the beta but one thing's for sure, this game is looking good already and possibly worth the excruciating wait Xbox gamers must undergo. Hit the break for the artwork of maps heading to Xbox 360 with Gears of War 3.
