The Gears Pro Circuit previously had a $250,000 prize pool but has now increased to $300,000 thanks to player support and sales of the eSports supporter packs. Xbox and The Coalition will be hosting the Open LAN event from November 25 to 27 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
It will be the first open event for the Gears Pro Circuit which will be visiting Paris, London, Mexico City, and Las Vegas. Tickets for general admission are still available for $35 and a Team Pass for $200 which includes a five player and one manager pass. The following is the prize pool breakdown:
- 1st – $120,000
- 2nd – $60,000
- 3rd – $40,000
- 4th – $24,000
- 5/6th – $12,000
- 7/8th – $6,000
- 9 – 12th – $3,000
- 13 – 16th – $2,000
