Today Xbox is hosting its E3 2018 press briefing from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and we got the reveal of the new chapter of the Gears of War franchise, titled simply Gears 5.

The announcement mentioned the biggest and beautiful world created by The Coalition, and what we saw in the trailer certainly appears to mirror what we heard.

Of course, the game is coming for Xbox One and Windows 10, and it’ll release in 2019. For the moment we don’t have a precise release date, but we’ll probably hear more about it down the line.

You can check out the trailer below and see if it catches your attention. It surely grabbed mine. If you want to see more, you can also check out the first screenshots, and read the first (rather brief for now) details.

This is just one of the many reveals from today’s Xbox press briefing. You can check out everything else in the livestream directly from Microsoft.
