Genshin Impact 1.6 update is slated to release pretty soon, and miHoYo has announced all the necessary details regarding the upcoming update. The game receives an update every six weeks, and this time, players are getting tons of new stuff to try out.

First up, we have the all new character Kazuha, a wandering samurai from the Inazuma region, and a five-star Anemo character. Alongside that, the Summer Islands have also been added to the game, which gives players a chance to try out a number of new quests and explore an all new region in the game. There are tons of new weapons and items as well.
As the update date draws closer, fans are quite curious to know the release time and other maintenance information about the 1.6 Update. Here is all you need to know about it.
Genshin Impact 1.6 Release Time, Countdown, Server Maintenance, Free Primogems, UTC+8 to ET
Today, miHoYo has announced the release time and server maintenance info, along with the rewards players will be getting. The update maintenance will begin on 9th June, at 06:00:00 (UTC+8) or 6pm ET.
The server maintenance will go on for about 5 hours, so players can expect to be able to log back into the game at around 11pm ET. Do note that the maintenance timings might change. For each hour the servers are down, players will be getting 60 Primogems.
That means, for a total of 5 hours, players will be getting a total of 300 Primogems. If the game is down for more hours, the compensations will consequently increase. However, if the maintenance finishes early, players will still get a minimum of 300 Primogems, miHoYo has confirmed.
The 1.6 Update will be bringing tons of new stuff into the game, so fans are eagerly looking forward to it. With just a few hours to go for the update to release, players will be able to try it out pretty soon.
