Genshin Impact 1.7 Leaks: New Ayaka Gameplay, Inazuma DLC Details Leaked

While the 1.6 Update has just arrived, fans are already quite curious to know what's next, especially given the fact that the Inazuma region is slated to arrive in that. The latest leak comes from popular Genshin dataminer Dimbreath, and he gives fans a sneak peek into what Ayaka might look like in the game. Here is the video.

Alongside that, a bunch of details about the Inazuma region has also been revealed. This leak comes from Takashi, via Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord, the server where most of the leaks surface online. Here is the leak:

Inazuma location

1. The three islands (Watatsumi, Seirai and Tsurumi) are very complete - they should be out for the 2nd half of beta. The whole of the 2.0 map is 6 islands.

2. The sea between liyue and inazuma is not empty, the Inazuma DLC - the underwater Dragon Palace will be there. (This can be seen from the current Guyun Stone Forest area, estimated to be out in 2022)

3. Inazuma's DLC originates from a folktale (one day in the Palace, ten years on the ground) - We assume the Folktale that they are referring to is - Urashima Tarō

4. Cannot use Kaeya-bridge to get to Inazuma. When the player gets near the Dragon Palace they will be forcefully teleported

The dlc might not only belong to Inazuma, or perhaps even not belong to any Region Also, the Dragon Palace and Coral Palace are different things.

This leak might not be completely true, but it does give us a lot of insight about the Inazuma region's location. In fact, the Inazuma map was leaked a while ago, and it coincides with this leak as well. It is also noted that while the term DLC is frequently used, it will be similar to the Dragonspine expansion. As the beta progresses, we should be learning more about the upcoming update.
