Quite notable of all was the introduction of the fishing system, which has opened up tons of things to do for players out there. There is a variety of fish that players can catch, and it can be exchanged at various Fishing Associations for a wide range of items.

While fans are still enjoying the 2.1 Update, the 2.2 Beta has already kicked off and there is some disappointing news for fans out there.

Genshin Impact 2.2 Leaks: Beta Has No New 5-star, One 4-star Character

Genshin Impact 2.2 Beta started yesterday, and we have learned some interesting stuff about the update. According to credible Genshin Impact leaker abc64, the new update only has one new 4-star character, and that is Thoma.

This is quite surprising as several credible leakers had previously stated that Yae will be making her debut in the 2.2 Update. But it seems like miHoYo has changed its plans at the last moment. Banners are usually very unpredictable, but the track record has been quite good in the past. Whether this was changed after the leak or not, is not known.

With only one new 4-star character, the question that arises is which 5-star character will be a part of the update. There are several reruns players are waiting for, and it will be interesting to see what miHoYo chooses this time around. With the beta already underway, we should get that information really soon.
