Genshin Impact – “Kreideprinz” Albedo Collected Miscellany Video Explains He’s a Support Character, Teases Future Khaenri’ah Story Content
Nothing prevents you from using Albedo as any other role than support, that kind of freedom is one of the many strengths of Genshin Impact.
miHoYo published on December 23 the Collected Miscellany video for Albedo, explaining the newest support character in Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch soon). Collected Miscellany are videos breaking down a character’s abilities and giving players some advice on how to use them. It’s longer and more in-depth than the character demo videos, which just focus on making the characters look cool.
This explains in detail everything you can do with Albedo, some ideas to use in battle, and some basic strategies. In particular, the video mentions Albedo excels as a support, a primordial role in Genshin Impact. Most players consider as Support a character you quickly swap to for using their Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst, before switching back to your main DPS. To trigger Elemental Reactions or for some kind of bigger scheme. In Albedo’s case, it means setting his Solar Isotoma Field and then switching to your main damage dealers while staying in the Solar Isotoma Field.
However, Albedo can deal pretty good Geo damage too as a main attacker. And ultimately it’ll all depend, as always, on your Artifacts.
Genshin Impact – Albedo Collected Miscellany – Gameplay Breakdown Video (English, Japanese)
As always, the video is narrated by Bough Keeper Dainsleif, a mysterious character we don’t know much about. Besids that he’s someone who you can easily tell apart in Japanese because his seiyuu is Kenjiro Tsuda. Anyway,s the video teases what will be coming in Genshin Impact at some point, probably years from now on. As both Dainsleif and Albedo are linked to Khaenri’ah: a place different than the seven regions of Teyvat. The alchemy Albedo uses is linked to the Art of Khemia, one of the technologies from Khaenri’ah.
Dainsleif is a man of mysterious origins but claims to have knowledge of fate itself. Let’s listen to his voice artists’ performances, and try to figure out the secrets of the Bough Keeper together.
