Genshin Impact — miHoYo Reveals Start Dates for All That Glitters Events

Genshin Impact Final Version 1.3 is coming on February 3, so today miYoHo has revealed the dates for all the upcoming events.

Genshin Impact is about to drop the 1.3 version. That will come with a whole host of new features and updates. However, one of the most important things is the new events that come along with “All That Glitters.” Today, miHoYo finally game us the dates for all of the events you’ll be hopping into over the next few months. Check it out below.

Lantern Rite Event

Up first is the “Lantern Rite” event. Here, you’ll earn a 4-Star Liyue character and Peace Talismans to spend in the Xiao Market. The event kicks off on February 10 and runs through February 28. However, the Xiao market stays open until March 7, giving you plenty of time to spend all your hard-earned Peace Talismans.

Of course, to even start the event you’ll need to be at Adventure Rank 23 or higher and complete Xiao’s story quest. That gives you access to start up the questline included in the event. On top of that, you can spend Xiao Lanterns to make an attempt at clearing the Theater Mechanicus challenge either by yourself or with one friend.

Night Sky’s Grace

Night Sky’s Grace is much less involved but still gets you some nifty rewards. The log-in event runs from February 26 to March 2. Each day, anyone over Adventure Rank 2 will be sent different sets of items through the mail. Importantly, if you log in, but forget to claim that day’s items, you’ll still find them in your mailbox until 1.3 ends. Here’s the full list of rewards:

  • 2/26:Intertwined Fate ×1;Golden Crab ×5;Mystic Enhancement Ore ×10
  • 2/27:Fragile Resin ×1;Tianshu Meat ×5;Hero’s Wit ×5
  • 2/28:Intertwined Fate ×1;Guide to Diligence ×3;Mora ×50,000
  • 3/1:Fragile Resin ×1;Guide to Gold ×3;Mystic Enhancement Ore ×10
  • 3/2:Intertwined Fate ×1;Guide to Prosperity ×3;Hero’s Wit ×5

May Fortune Find You

This is another daily login event, but less constrained. If you log in for seven total days between February 11 to February 26, you’ll grab a nice set of items. You do have to be Adventure Rank 5, but that should be more than manageable. In total, you’ll grab nine Intertwined Fate, eight Hero’s Wit, 18 Mystic Enhancement Ore, and 80,000 Mora. Not a bad haul for just hopping into the game.

Five Flushes of Fortune

This is a bit of a fun one for Genshin Impact players Adventure Rank 20 or higher. At the start of the event, you’ll be given a Kamera and asked to take photos of specific targets. You can then use these to acquire items and share your photos with a friend. The 10-day event kicks off on February 2.

Genshin Impact Event Wish, miYoHo

Event Wish “Invitation to Mundane Life” and “Epitome Invocation”

Once 1.3 kicks off on February 3, players will have a better chance of grabbing a few characters and items. The characters include both “Vigilant  Yaksha” Xiao, “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona, “Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean” Beibou, and “Blazing Riff” Xinyan. And for weapons, you’ll have a boosted chance to grab the Primordial Jade Cutter, Primordial Winged-Spear, The Flute, Sacrificial Greatsword, Rust, Eye of Perception, and Favonius Lance.

On top of all that, the event will also open up new “Test Run” trial events for you to complete. Doing so will earn you even more rewards.

Ley Line Overflow Event

From February 26 to March 5 players will have the chance to earn double drops from Blossoms of Wealth and Blossoms of Revelation. Make sure to hop in and complete the events to stock up on items.

Event Wish “Dance of Laterns”

Here’s another event that boosts the drop rates of certain characters. This one runs from February 17 to March 3. It gives you a better than usual chance to get “Driving Thunder” Keqing, “Eclipsing Star” Ningguang, “Trial by Fire” Bennett, and “Shining Idol” Barbara. Plus, like the other event wish events, you can complete trial events to earn rewards.

And there you have it. That’s all the events and their start dates for the 1.3 update. Make sure to get yourself prepped and ready for a fun six weeks. Genshin Impact is available now on Nintendo Switch, Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. The 1.3 update hits on February 3.
