Genshin Impact fully revealed Arataki Itto and his voice actors in Japanese and English, and if you're a huge fan of Takanori Nishikawa and decided to pull Itto now, there are several Ascension and Talent Materials you can farm for him right now.

Arataki Itto Ascension Level Up Materals you can farm in Genshin Impact right now
Arataki Itto according to the database Honey Impact will use 165 Onikabuto, 15 Slime Condensate, 30 Slime Secretions, 36 Slime Concentrate, 46 Riftborn Regalia, and the usual Geo jewels (Prithiva Topaz) as his Ascension level up materials. You should be drowning in Slime drops by now unless you've just started playing the game. Note that these are the same usual numbers for Ascending all characters, only the Materials are different.
For Prithiva Topaz (Geo Ascension jewels), I personally don't recommend farming them now because the new Riftborn Regalia boss will drop some anyways.
Onikabuto locations
Meanwhile, Onikabuto is a Local Specialty of Inazuma, and you might already have aton too unless you didn't diligently gather every single item you could. I've included their locations below from the official interactive map.
Arataki Itto - Talent Materials to farm
Arataki Itto will use Elegance type Talent Materials (the ones with the paper fan symbol), so you should farm the Inazuma Talents Domain (Violet Court) on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (Thundering Valley). Itto will also use Slime Materials (like for Level up Ascension), and Ashen Heart (La Signora drop).
The numbers of Materials you'll need are the same as usual. These are identical for any character's Talents.
The Riftborn Regalia, the Ascension Material you CAN'T get for Itto until 2.3
The Riftborn Regalia is the boss material Itto uses in Level Up Ascension, it's a drop from the Golden Wolflord, the new World Boss coming in Version 2.3. This means you'll only be able to get these when the update releases.
You'll need 46 Riftbon Regalia. That's the usual number of boss materials for any character's Ascension. So you'll end up fighting the Golden Wolflord at the very least 23 times if you're unlucky and don't get runs where he drops 3 instead of 2.
The Golden Wolflord will also drop Prithiva Topaz (Geo Ascension jewels) so you should farm them at the same time.
Aratak Itto release date in Genshin Impact
Arataki Itto is the second banner of Genshin Impact 2.3, coming December 14. So by the time he releases you can have farmed enough materials to level him up to 81 on release day after pulling him.
I personally don't level characters to 90 as the gains aren't worth the price in Mora and EXP Tickets. I just level them up at level 81, to indicate to other players online that the character is fully Ascended. Though I never have the time to play co-op anyway.
