This is the first big main story quest we’re getting since We Will Be Reunited, which was released in April 2021.

What we know on the quest
This is a prologue quest to chapter 2 of the “Teyvat Story Chapter”, which will take place in Inazuma. Looking for a way to head to Inazuma, the Traveler will meet with Beidou and her Crux Fleet. Storywise, this will be the first time we actually meet the Ami Koshimizu voiced captain. We’ll also meet Kazuha, who is part of the fleet, and whose banner will be launching soon. Thorough Beidou and Kazuha, we’ll learn new story and world building, or lore if you like that word, with details on the state of affairs in Inazuma.
Personally speaking, I’m really looking forward to the new chapter as I mainly play Genshin Impact for its story elements. I’m pretty hype for Inazuma as a whole, and seeing what the team did in the past with Dragonspine makes the region really promising exploration wise.
Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, PC, iOS, and Android. Inazuma should be launching with Version 1.7 on July 21. The date should officially announced in the next live stream coming soon.
