Ultra cute SD illustrations usable as Twitter Avatars have been published for Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch soon). As of November 25, the followers count on the Japanese Twitter account exceeded 700,000. The account shared these official Genshin Impact avatars for the occasion.Needless to say, the game's pretty high quality is a big factor. However, the main reason why the Genshin Impact Japanese Twitter account has so many followers is the daily campaign it holds. Each week, a Twitter campaign is launched, where each day, those who retweet a specific tweet enter a lottery. The prizes includes Amazon Gift Cards, autographs from the seiyuu, and various Genshin goods. A certain incident happened with the campaign a few days ago, with a Japanese fan trolling the Genshin account.

Genshin Impact SD Avatars For Twitter

Mona has a really smug look, hinting she's getting praised for her astrology. Keqing looks elegant and dignified, a posture worthy of her position as one of the seven stars of Liyue, the Liyue Qixing. Qiqi is the same as usual and can barely reach the counter of Bubu Pharmacy. Sucrose is happily doing alchemy experiments. Lastly, Venti looks like he just saw a really good wine bottle for cheap.

Moreover, it's worth noting miHoYo is obserseving the fans pretty well. As Mona, Keqing and Qiqi are definitely among the most popular characters. Venti as well. And they're all five starts. The only exception is Sucrose, who is a four star character but still pretty popular either way.

Plus, nearly all characters in Genshin are voiced by incredibly popular seiyuu in the Japanese version. For instance, Qiqi is Yukari Tamura, and Keqing is Eri Kitamura, two veteran singer seiyuu who made it big in the 2000s. Moreover, Yukari Tamura is currently reprising her role as Rika Furude, in Higurashi Gou, one of the most popular anime this season in Japan.

In related news, miHoYo is now suing players leaking content from the Genshin Impact version 1.2 Closed Beta Test.
