You ever wondered if Ayaka was a Mondstadt character? You’ve got an answer now as SOVI(latte) made a Knights of Favonius costume for the Shirasagi no Himegmimi of Inazuma. The artist has been creating fan-made skins like this on social media before the costume system was even implemented. Be sure to give them a follow.
Skins is one of the most sought-after content in Genshin Impact. Seeing miHoYo first teased a costumes system, a housing system, and farming soon after the open-world JRPG first released back on September 28, 2020. The costume system was added with Version 1.6 on June 9, 2021.
SOVI(latte) also regularly redraws the 3D character models by adding cute cat ears for all the nekomimi lovers out there.

What are the skins / costumes available in Genshin Impact so far?
Right now, the only two characters with alternate skins / costumes are Barbara and her sister Jean. Swimwear costumes to be specific. Barb’s skin was obtainable for free during all of Version 1.6. Meanwhile, her sister’s costume was discounted during 1.6, which indicates future costumes will be discounted for a limited time as well.
Genshin Impact follows northern hemisphere seasons. The Jean and Barbara costumes coincided with Summer and the vacation-themed 1.6 update. As such, the next time we get new costumes, it’s likely to be Fall or Winter themed costumes. It’s also possible Albedo’s waiter costume, made for the Sweets Paradise collab café key visual, will be added to the game.
Genshin Impact should launch its Version 2.1 on September 1. This update will add more Inazuma islands and a fishing system according to leaks. miHoYo has also already confirmed the Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi will be pullable in new gacha banners. All three characters already appear in-game, in the Archon Story Quests.
