miHoYo revealed the character tales artwork trailer for Childe in Genshin Impact, who is joining the playable cast gacha on November 11.

A few days after the Chinese version posted on Bilibili, miHoYo revealed the English version of the Childe Character Tales trailer in Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, soon on Switch). Sadly if English isn’t your native language, or if you simply prefer the Japanese dub overall, the Japanese one isn’t out yet. Note that what follows contains spoilers.

The trailer shows Childe aka Tartaglia doing his job as the eleventh Harbringers of the Fatui. Dealing with a teashop that was pretty late to pay back its debts to the Snezhnaya bank Childe is leading in Liyue Harbor. The trailer is in the usual Character Trailers style of Genshin with pretty cool artworks moving around. Like most openings for ADV (visual novel) games.

Genshin Impact Character Tales, Childe Trailer (English)

The Korean dub version of the Genshin Childe Character Tales is out as well. We’ll be updating this story when the Japanese version becomes available. Hopefully soon. On a related note, miHoYo finally started revealing the English voice actresses and actors on the game. Which is great. Childe is voiced by Griffin Burns in English. The English Genshin official Twitter started sharing news simultaneously with the Japanese one as well for a few days now. Getting its act together.

Childe is multi functional and would make a great husband according to his little sister Tonia.

Childe will probably be available through a new limited Gacha banner launching with Version 1.1 on November 11. You can read the details on Ver 1.1 A New Star Approaches with our past coverage. Genshin Impact running on PS5 will have faster loading times and better graphics than on PS4.
