Although only a part of the Inazuma Island was added in the update, there are several other islands that will reportedly be added in the upcoming updates. Along with that, we have also received several new characters such as Sayu, Yoimiya, and of course, Ayaka.

Amidst all that, the hype for the Genshin Impact anniversary event is picking up pace, along with the Horizon collaboration. Today, we have got some exciting information about the event.

Here's How Genshin Impact Collab Could Be Impacted Due To Horizon Forbidden West Delay

A popular Genshin Impact leaker, Genshin Report has stated that Horizon Forbidden West's delay will have an impact on the entire collaboration. For those who are unaware, it was recently revealed that the much anticipated PlayStation exclusive, Horizon Forbidden West has been delayed to 2022. This was earlier reported by Venture Beat journalist Jeff Grubb, and corroborated by Bloomberg's Jason Schrier.

According to the leaker, the Horizon Forbidden West collaboration was timed in such a way so as to coincide with the release of the game. With the delay, those plans are disrupted now. However, it is reiterated that there is no way that the collab will be delayed, as there have been instances in the past where No Time to Die and Halo Infinite were delayed but it didn't affect the ad campaign.

Players might get a chance to get C1 Aloy

One might be wondering if not a delay in the collaboration, then how exactly would the delay impact the collab? Well, we might see another drop of Aloy according to the leak. This means that players might get a chance to unlock more constellations of the character. This collaboration might attract a lot of Genshin Impact players to Horizon Forbidden West, so a second drop does make a lot of sense.

Considering that this is a promo character, we are not yet sure how this will entirely work. Leaks have suggested that the character will no be having any constellations at all, so this might second drop might sound absurd if that's the case. Or maybe miHoYo might add constellations later down the line. Only time will tell.
