While several Genshin Impact fans are still wondering when miHoYo will be adding alternate skins and bonus costumes, some artists have taken it upon themselves to satisfy fans for the time being - this is the case of @soyventilatte, who regularly shares beautiful fan-made costumes for the characters, including the Traveler.

Genshin Impact player and artist Soiventilatte shared an incredibly cute and inspiring version of Lumine and Aether, sporting Liyue inspired costumes.

Genshin Impact Traveler Liyue fanmade skins

Neeldess to say, Genshin Impact can't be modded, and these are just made as eye candy. You cannot actually play with these costumes in game, there's no way to unlock them, or mod them into the game.

With that said, the Travelers Lumine and Aether sporting region specific skins, like an Inazuma skin, etc, seems like a cool idea miHoYo could implement in Genshin Impact in the future - most likely for a certain fee.

When will Genshin Impact release official skins?

While these two costumes are fan-made, this doesn’t mean we couldn’t get outfits like that in the long run. In the past, miHoYo teased Genshin Impact in the future can get systems such as a housing system, a farming system, and alternate costumes, or skins. We’ll be sure to tell you the day it does happen.

  • COSTUMES - official teaser from miHoYo

miHoYo itself already released some official skins as well. With the Diluc and Noelle KFC collab. Which ended up creating a stir in China. There are no plans to add the KFC costumes in the game itself, however. In any case, we'll be sure to tell you as soon as possible once we hear of miHoYo's future plans for skins of the Traveler or other characters in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PC, and mobile. A PS5 version is coming soon. A switch version was also announced but with no release estimate.
